In the past, patients had to undergo painful procedures called vein stripping, which involved hospital admission, general anesthesia and a long, difficult recovery period requiring time off from work or school. Thankfully, that is no longer necessary! Dr. William C. Fox and Dr. Eric Hardee specialize in state-of-the-art, minimally invasive procedures that are performed in a comfortable, outpatient setting with local anesthesia. As a result, there is little or no downtime and only minimal discomfort.

What to Expect

When you schedule an appointment with us, you will meet personally with Dr. Fox or Dr. Hardee who will guide you through the whole process. Your doctor will go over your full medical history and perform a focused physical examination to look at the symptoms that led you to seek treatment. If the doctor feels it is necessary based on the results of this examination, a diagnostic ultrasound evaluation will be performed.

Diagnostic ultrasound evaluations are performed in our office. Drs. Fox and Hardee are both board-certified in vascular ultrasonography. Your doctor will interpret the results of your ultrasound in the office, then discuss treatment options with you and answer any questions you may have.

All of the treatments are minimally invasive, outpatient procedures performed right in our office. There is no need for general anesthesia or sedation. Our procedures require little to no recovery time. In fact, patients may resume normal activity right away. Most are able to return to work the same day they are treated.

Vein disease is a medical condition covered by insurance. Texas Endovascular accepts most major insurance plans and Medicare.
